Norwegian Cruise Line Rep and DI rep would not even return my emails after tons of promises!!! REPORT ALL OF YOUR BAD EXPERIENCES TO THE CFPB - Consumer Federal Protection Bureau! Diamonds International is not good for their word and I have the appraisal to prove it!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16777638931043959782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656713122910596145.post-66004647787000213422015-01-29T17:34:06.362-08:002015-01-29T17:34:06.362-08:00I, like many of you, have had a terrible experienc...I, like many of you, have had a terrible experience with Diamonds International. I was swayed by my cruise line into thinking that DI was a credible jewelry store with the best prices in the world. Not only this, but they are "THE Diamonds International." To keep my situation brief: I purchased a loose diamond while on vacation. Upon returning to the US, I did some research to determine just how good of a deal I received. Much to my astonishment, I paid more than double what the piece was worth (LITERALLY!). After nearly a month of battling with DI, I was finally able to receive a refund via a tiny clause in their return policy on the back of their receipt. If you want to hear more about my story and how to get a refund for your piece, please watch my YouTube video and email me with any questions at beatDInternational(at)gmail(dot)com. While searching for information to fight this parasite, I was surprised to find very little. This is why I have made this YT video to help the rest of you and to save you the headache that I faced! I am getting ready to go on my cruise next week.I HAD plans to buy some jewelry while on the ship, and when we hit the ports. Now I will just enjoy the beaches and food! I will tell you this on my last cruise I won a "BLUE DIAMOND" and i took it to a friend who is a jeweler . He told me it was a fake!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656713122910596145.post-53533394916381162742012-04-27T18:29:52.572-07:002012-04-27T18:29:52.572-07:00How do I get a hold of you Jules - have a problem ...How do I get a hold of you Jules - have a problem w/ Diamonds International!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656713122910596145.post-49276297886076627752012-02-06T18:33:31.236-08:002012-02-06T18:33:31.236-08:00Four years ago, after listening to the sales pitch...Four years ago, after listening to the sales pitch on a carnival cruise, I bought my wife a ruby/diamond bracelet at DI in Cozumel. the first time she took it off, it broke, I saw the sales pitcher on the ship and he had it (very poorly) repaired in grand Cayman. after seeing the bad job, I gave the bracelet to the sales Pitcher who did not want to be a receiver on that day! but no choice with me. after
our return home, we advised our Credit card company to hold on the payment since we had returned the bracelet to the merchant. DI tried very hard to send us back something and get their money. but since we had given the bracelet back to the representative, they were stuck at their game. we refused any new product from them and the fees were canceled.
we are proud to have decided to simply give the jewelry back to the young peddler aboard ship. by the way Carnival refused to help us.

JulesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656713122910596145.post-41554388680351459802011-08-08T06:14:39.206-07:002011-08-08T06:14:39.206-07:00Just wondering if you would have an insight on who...Just wondering if you would have an insight on who to talk to if I was ripped off, taken advantage of and lied to at a guaranteed jewellery store in St.Thomas?? Is it true that pooled tips are split 60% to wait staff, and 40% to cabin staff? That means cabin stewards don't get to keep the entire amount they get? Did I say "LOVE THIS BLOG??"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
