Hello, Readers, and thank you for tuning in to trumptettravels - the true accounts of my 11 year career on cruise ships as a crew member aboard Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, P&O Cruises, Premier Cruises and the Holland America Line.
The Pacific Sun sees some rough seas. Check out in particular 00:35 on as some passengers faceplant into the ship. I've had many a journey go unexpectantly rough! Smooth sailing to everyone from TrumpetDad.
TD...when the "staff" is having dinner or drinks in the guest area they are always wearing their name tags. My questions are...Is it required that they wear there name tag? Do they get a "reduced" price when eating at the special restaurants? Do they get a discount on drink prices in the bars? Do they get a discount in the hair salon, excursions, etc. What kind of RULES do they have to follow when in the guest areas?
ReplyDeleteHey, Sorry I never answered this. Staff usually get a 20% discount at the shops, art auction, and bar. All crew need to wear nametags, but there are exceptions like the art auctioneer or guest entertainer. When you go to a hotel you don't see your maid sitting at the bar, and that's how they want the ships to be. THere is a crew bar where drinks are cheap.
